Privacy policy
Effective August 12, 2026
The short version: we collect nothing.
Eden's Play Garden has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no trackers, and no third-party services running while your child plays. We could not sell or lose your child's data, because we never have it.
What stays on your device
- Play progress — counts of things like flowers bloomed and towers built, and the learning-stage setting.
- Preferences — language, touch vibration, wind-down timer, the grown-up code, and which game level was last open.
- The app itself — pages and sounds are cached so the garden works offline.
None of this ever leaves the device. There is no server to send it to; the app makes no third-party network requests, and its fonts and game engines live on our own address. You can erase everything at any time from the Parent corner, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
The backup file
The Parent corner can save your child's progress to a file so you can move it to a new tablet. That file is created on your device and saved wherever you choose. It is never uploaded — we never see it.
The activity log, and sharing it (always your choice)
The Parent corner keeps a short on-device activity log — which games held the screen and roughly how long, in ~5-minute estimates, for the last two weeks. It stays on this device like everything else. If you choose, a button can open your own email app with that log as the message text — no names, no times finer than a day, no device details — so you can read every line and decide whether to send it to us. Nothing is ever sent automatically, and the app itself uploads nothing, ever.
Children's privacy (COPPA)
This is a children's app, built to respect the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act by architecture rather than by policy promise: the app has no mechanism to collect personal information from anyone, including children. Your child never signs in, is never asked their name or age, and cannot be contacted through the app. A parent may optionally type a short greeting alias in the Parent Corner for a friendly on-device hello — the child is still never asked, and like the PIN and play history it is stored only on this device and never transmitted.
The one place a human is involved
If you email us at info@edensplaygarden.com, we receive your email address and whatever you write — that is the only data channel in this app, it is started by you, and it uses your own mail app. We use it solely to reply. Please don't include information about your child; we will never ask for any.
Our website is separate. If you visit edensplaygarden.com and ask to be told when a new pack opens, that page will offer to keep your email address so we can send you that one message — it says so there, and it has its own privacy policy. Nothing on this page changes: the app your child touches still collects nothing, and the website never asks about a child.
Terms of use
Effective August 2, 2026
By using Eden's Play Garden you agree to these terms; a parent or guardian agrees on behalf of any child who plays.
- What it is: an early-learning play experience, provided free of charge in its family mode for personal, noncommercial use.
- Learning, not advice: the app's facts are curated, sourced, and dated — but they are for early-learning play only, not medical, dental, nutritional, or other professional advice. Questions about your child's health or development belong with your pediatrician, dentist, or teacher.
- No accounts here: this app has no sign-in and asks for nothing. A parents-only sign-in exists on our website (edensplaygarden.com); an account there holds only what your provider shares to identify you as an adult — never anything about your child.
- Feedback: if you email us ideas, you agree we may use them to improve the app, without obligation or compensation.
- No warranty: the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
- Liability: to the maximum extent the law allows, MASONBYTE LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages; where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to what you paid for family mode: zero.
- Changes: if the app grows (for example, a future storefront), these terms and the effective date above will be updated before that change ships.
- Governing law: Maryland, United States.
